About us

Heirloom & Co. is a sole trader business based in the Isle of Man, providing photograph restoration, enhancement and colourisation services online. Contact: [email protected].

The service

You send us a digital photograph (either a scan or a photo taken on your phone), and we restore, enhance and/or colourise it as agreed. We'll email your restored photograph(s) back to you, typically within 2–3 working days, though this may vary depending on order size and complexity.

Free first photograph

New customers may submit one photograph for a free restoration. This offer is limited to one photograph per customer and is provided at our discretion.

Pricing and payment

Prices for paid orders are shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Payment is taken in full before work begins, via our payment provider. Prices are in GBP (£).

Your photographs

You confirm that you own or have the right to submit any photograph you send us, and that you have permission from anyone else who might reasonably need to consent (for example, if the photograph is of a living person other than yourself). You retain all rights to your photographs; we only use them to carry out the restoration service you've requested.

Colourisation accuracy

Where colourisation is requested, colours are estimated based on the photograph's content and are not guaranteed to be historically or factually accurate.

Cancellations and your right to change your mind

Because each order is a bespoke restoration of your specific photograph, once we begin work on your order (with your agreement), your right to cancel for a refund no longer applies — except where the finished result doesn't meet our satisfaction guarantee below. Before work begins, you may cancel your order for a full refund at any time.

This clause is a reasonable starting draft but hasn't been confirmed by a solicitor as fully compliant with Isle of Man/UK distance-selling law. Please have it reviewed before relying on it.

Our satisfaction guarantee

If you're not happy with your restored photograph, tell us what isn't right and we'll rework it at no extra charge. If you're still not satisfied, we'll refund you in full. See our Refund Policy for details.

Limitation of liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have under Isle of Man consumer law that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Isle of Man.
